Notes
CCOHS Training
- Meghan is still working on training
- Haley to forward invoice to Rachel
- Rachel to review what invoices she has and who is missing
Inspections
- Haley and Austin reviewed September 11 notes from inspection in December - cohesive list is developed
- roll out for inspections - need to get template from Worksafe BC or find a suitable template for basic inspection
- Rachel and Zoe to work on creating a Malahat inspection template
Incidents/Injuries
- Environment and Lands routine meetings will now have a H+S component to gather information
Concerns
- request from community to have speed signs and bumps added on reserve when people are driving by really fast
- sign project is assigned to Jess Harry - follow up with her
- there is a larger design for roads in progress - speed bumps to be considered in that design
- speed bumps added to tracker for now
Fire Drills
- we should have monthly fire drills
- need contact alarm company and fire department
- Feb 25 at 1:00 pm and August 25, 2025 schedule file drill for all buildings
- Rachel to get C+C approval for fire drill on Feb 25 1:00pm
- consider scheduling Malahat wide fire drills at the beginning of the year (2 per year) - done for Feb and August
recommendations : OHS coordinator hired
Safety Equipment for Community
- Jeni has list of Daniel-purchased equipment
- Melissa and Jeni are discussing hand out of equipment
- CRD has offered up to 50-100 inflatable mattresses - Jeni has measurements of what storage is needed
- Alarm purchase - 2 km range hand powered siren (mass evacuation) - some models have different pitches for different meanings
QR Codes:
- Environment and Lands : done

Allergies and Scents
- issues with compliance with scent rule
- Malahat is now a scent-free workplace
- need to post memo and signage
