• New signage for First aid kits, fire extinguishers, AED 80% installed - Daniel
• Muster signs posts are in, signs are going in soon - Daniel
• Fire Department is going to do some training (Fire extinguisher/Fire warden) for Malahat (2 Tuesdays in October possibly) - Daniel
• New hires should be onboarded with health and safety, policy etc. for sure in the first week
• due process, not liability waiver for permanent employees. Waivers don't stand up. People should do a hazard assessment. Get a Health and Safety policy from C&C (Start point) onboarding, hazard assessment etc.
• Training for frontline supervisors on Health and Safety and hazard assessments
• Malahat Gov and Business needs to work together in the safety aspect.
• Individual on disability back from leave successfully - Rachel
• Fleet maintenance needed for OHS, Building inspections, vehicles, vessels, etc. Supervisors should have records of this and report to OHS 
  
• Phone Tree, Dan and Daniel looked at connect rocket and chose it. Leadership needs to finalize who will be on it
• Annual OHS training at the same time as NDA, Conflict forms etc.
• Should have a board to post things in every building
• The great shake out is coming up and we should register for it Thursday Oct 19th. @ 10;19am it will happen and Malahat should participate. Loop Dan in to notify everyone to do the stop, drop, hide, count to 30 and then go to muster stations. Have martials to sweep the buildings.
• Daniel and Meghan to organize emergency safety night in for community. Daniel possibly has funding for food, grab and go kits etc. Possibly late November 5-8pm
• Directors for each department to deliver on-boarding of OHS for their department because they are all different. And ensure new employees know their rights to know the hazards, report incidents etc. Tailor on-boarding to each department. 

Action Items

• Daniel and Rachel to start the discussions on On-boarding Health and Safety and Hazard assessment to figure out policy. Maybe start with boiler plate
• Daniel to send forms to Steph to upload to Malahat Docs
• Figure out who wants to organize Shake out, email out instructions to everyone. - Rachel to Lead - DID NOT HAPPEN
  
• Daniel and Meghan to talk regarding safety night for community - ONGOING
