Installation
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and connecting your Fujitsu scanner to your computer. Before starting, ensure your scanner is compatible with your operating system.
Requirements
- A compatible Fujitsu scanner

Installation Steps
Part 1: Install PaperStream IP (TWAIN)
PaperStream IP (TWAIN) drivers ensure your Fujitsu scanner can communicate effectively with your computer and scanning software.

Download PaperStream IP (TWAIN):
- Visit the Ricoh website at Ricoh's official site.
- Navigate to the Downloads or Support section.
- Search for "PaperStream IP (TWAIN)" suitable for your scanner model.
- Select the version compatible with your operating system (Windows, MacOS, etc.).
- Click on the download link to start the download process.

Install PaperStream IP (TWAIN):
- Locate the downloaded file on your computer, typically in the Downloads folder.
- Double-click the installer file to start the installation process.
- Follow the on-screen instructions. This may involve accepting the license agreement, choosing an installation directory, and selecting installation options.
- Complete the installation by clicking Finish. You may need to restart your computer.
Part 2: Install FiScnSDK
The FiScnSDK is required for advanced scanning functionalities and is available through the Xyntax Client portal.

Download FiScnSDK.exe:
- Access the Xyntax Client portal. You may need login credentials provided by your organization or Xyntax support.
- Locate the FiScnSDK.exe file suitable for your Fujitsu scanner model and computer's operating system.
- Click on the download link to start the download process.

Install FiScnSDK.exe:
- Find the downloaded FiScnSDK.exe file, likely in your Downloads folder.
- Double-click on the file to initiate the installation.
- Follow the prompts provided by the installation wizard. This typically includes accepting terms, choosing an install location, and confirming the installation.
- Click Finish to complete the installation. You may be prompted to restart your computer to apply the changes.
Connecting Your Fujitsu Scanner

Connect the Scanner to Your Computer:
- Ensure the scanner is turned off.
- Connect the scanner to your computer using the appropriate USB or other interface cable.
- Turn on the scanner.

Verify the Connection:
- Once the scanner is connected and turned on, your computer should recognize the new device.
- You may see a notification indicating that drivers are being installed. Wait for this process to complete.
- To verify the scanner is properly connected, go to your computer’s Devices and Printers (Windows) or System Preferences > Printers & Scanners (Mac) section. Your Fujitsu scanner should be listed.
