HP MFP Printers

Malahat Nation has three HP MFP Printers, one in health, one in community programs, and one in the environment office. Our primary support contact for the HP printers is Chris Davies.

Toner Waste Container

A recurring maintenance task with these printers occurs when the toner waste container becomes full. This is not a regular replacement part. Instead, Chris will swing by with a special vacuum cleaner and empty the waste container for us. Please give him a couple of days to come by at his convenience.

The toner waste container can be removed, jiggled, and reinstalled. This should free up some space within it and buy you a few more days of printing.

Please don't try to empty the waste container yourself, printer toner is extremely messy and is a known carcinogen.
