Communications Overview
All requests for communications can go to communications@malahatnation.com or you can reach out directly to Jessica Harry.
Malahat Website
The official Malahat Nation website. All communications flow through the website, ensuring it operates as a publicly available single source of truth for all nation members, staff and external parties. Blog posts can be created any time, and can be later translated to the newsletter. Future plans will allow members to directly comment on posts, to better cultivate two way communication through this platform.
If you would like to discuss changes, additions or updates to your department's web page, please reach out directly to the IT team.

Facebook Group
facebook.com/groups/malahatcommunity
The Malahat Nation Community Facebook group is an established platform for sharing quick updates to the community, event posters, and linking to various pages on the Malahat Nation website. It is also a great platform for community to ask questions directly, and leave their comments on the various posts. It should be kept in mind that the Facebook is only available to those who have a Facebook account, so this platform is naturally limited in reach.
Facebook post requests can be made to the #facebook channel in the Malahat Nation Slack.

These events are held at the Kwunew Kwasun Centre and are open to all community to join in person. We've historically made these events available over Zoom, however have been experiencing little to no engagement. We will be exploring alternative ways to digitize these meetings and make them more accessible to members.
