- Bullying and Harassment in Programs : Does OHS policy cover community members participating in Malahat-run programs? There seems to be a gap there with members (and staff) reporting harassment and bullying during some programs, deterring them from taking part in programs. How does this get addressed in a consistent, productive manner?

Bullying and Harassment in Programs
- occur in all levels in organization
- OHS has a gap if community members are taking programs run by Malahat (outside of staff)
- sometimes staff and Community feel unsure how to deal with situations within programs
- this has been discussed with Leadership
- plan to train Malahat community and new staff in Lateral Violence training - rolled out in the next years
- Jessica Stevens is spearheading this training with trainers
- need to have consistency about Code of Conduct/Expectations across all programs at Malahat (seems to be some differences across different programs)
- health has a Code of Conduct document we could use for inspiration?
- staff should have tools and toolbox to deal with difficult situations (road map how to deal with particular situations)
- onboarding checklist could include 'Respectful Workplace' training (CCOHS or WorkSafe)
PPE
- Malahat should be provided appropriate work gear for work activities (e.g. goggles, vests)
Co-Chair
- needs to be someone who does not have staff working under them/manager duties
- running meetings, signing agenda minutes,

Action Items
- draft a request for leadership to review a 'Code of Conduct/Expectations/Guidelines' for participants in Community Programs
